Immediate opportunity for an experienced Technical Writer. In this role, you will be responsible for writing, editing, formatting, and maintaining processes and standard operating procedures for internal lines of business. This role works closely with Subject Matter Experts in each line of business, quality assurance and leadership throughout the development process to ensure documentation is accurate and complete.   



  • Creates and maintains Contact Center/Business Relations policies and procedures
  • Plan, develop, organize, write and edit operational procedures and manuals
  • Manage multiple tasks in a deadline driven environment.
  • Determine the needs of end users of procedures and manuals
  • Organize and write supporting documents for procedures
  • Use photographs, drawings, diagrams, and charts that increase users’ understanding
  • Select appropriate medium for message or audience, such as manuals or online procedures
  • Standardize content across platforms and media
  • Revise documents as new issues arise
  • Produce electronic documentation in addition to hard copy manuals
  • Maintain a comprehensive library of procedures and documentation
  • Analyze documents to maintain continuity of style of content
  • Manage updates and revisions to procedural literature
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to write in explanatory and procedural styles for multiple audiences
  • Skilled at prioritization and multi-tasking
  • Updates course material to ensure all documents are up to date
  • Provides input to update course material staying current with most update tools and process
  • Partners with trainers and quality assurance to evaluate and update material as needed
  • Establishes a process to review and include feedback from employees
  • Pro-actively maintains ongoing communication.
  • Follows through with meeting identified needs and/or escalates to management level
  • Handles confidential and non-routine information.  Maintains confidentiality of all corporate, client, and research matters
  • Identifies process improvement opportunities, initiates corrective action, and communicates this to management
  • Lead periodic training for new hire and current employees with focus on new/updated/reviewed procedures
  • Other duties as assigned



  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Experience creating online forms using Adobe Acrobat Professional.
  • Experience producing software documentation while adhering to a style guide.
  • Experience in comprehending software functionality with minimal instruction or demonstration.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite.

  • High School / GED required.
  • Specialized training – MS Office
  • University degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 3-5 Years of related experience.
  • 4+ years CDH or benefits related experience preferred

  • Typical office environment/working conditions.
  • Ability to work within standard business hours 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Monday-Friday.
  • Ability to work additional hours, as needed.
  • Must remain standing or at workstation for long periods of time.
  • Repetitive keyboard/mouse usage required.
  • Occasional travel to Sheboygan and Milwaukee locations.
