Systems Administrator

 

  1. POSITION SUMMARY

 

The Systems Administrator will be responsible for maintenance, configuration and provisioning network and system access for our customer facing online and mobile banking applications including their associated utility applications. The administrator must also support upgrading and troubleshooting existing departmental applications and servers to limit system disruptions. In addition, the System Administrator will be required to maintain a high level of accuracy; adhere to policies, procedures and defined access controls while meeting service level agreements.

 

  1. MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES
  2. Ensure system access adheres to policy, procedures and provisional grids
  3. Monitor system performance and uptime
  4. Support applications installs and upgrades
  5. Contribute to the build management process
  6. Ensure parity between non-production and production environments
  7. Lead resource for monthly production releases
  8. Lead resource for certificate management
  9. Engage in production troubleshooting efforts
  10. Support all related disaster recovery systems
  11. Contribute and participate in system access reviews and audits
  12. Analyze and remediate security findings
  13. Provide exceptional customer support services
  14. Provide input for continuous work process improvements
  15. Responsible for documenting the configuration of the system and related items
  16. Contribute to ongoing projects/initiatives
  17. Take ownership of assigned tickets, follow-up & track to resolution

 

  • EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
  • Bachelor's degree in related field preferred or equivalent work experience
  • 4 -- 6 years of related experience
  • System administration and IT certification in Linux, Microsoft, or other network related fields
  • Application Administration
  • Active Directory
  • Familiarity with applications such as NetScaler, Apigee, Java, Jenkins, Git, BitBucket, App Dynamics, are a plus
  • Microsoft 2010 Office Suite
  • Networking fundamentals
  • Organizational, detail oriented, problem resolution skills
  • Strong analytical and computer skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong collaboration skills to work in a team environment
  • Self-motivation and initiative
