Job Summary

Summer Intern Program duration: June 1, 2026 – August 7, 2026. (10 Weeks)
Position: Summer Intern – Human Resources Learning & Talent Management
As an intern you will be responsible for supporting the Human Resources team with a wide range of activities:
Career management activities
Initiatives related to training and development by assisting with employee workshops and seminars.
Coordinate and support execution of corporate learning events
Work with the Learning Management System (LMS) to input, organize, track and assess learning activities across the organization.
Contribute to HR related projects and processes in support of HR’s overall goals and objectives
General office needs such as filing, data entry, organizing meetings, and record keeping.
Support the HR Learning team in organizing training sessions and workshops.
Participate in employee engagement initiatives and training programs.
Conduct research on HR best practices and assist in process development and improvement
Location: Waterbury – Hybrid

Education, Skills, and Experience Requirements for Interns:
Current undergraduate rising Junior or Senior enrolled in an accredited college or university who is pursuing a degree in HR, organizational psychology, business management or related area of study and has an interest in the banking/financial services industry
Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Must be able to interact with people effectively, work well with others, and find solutions to HR challenges.
Demonstrated experience working in an office setting.
Knowledge of HR procedures and duties, such as hiring, handling benefits, managing employee relations, providing training, and performance management.
Resourceful, enthusiastic, and proactive
Highly organized
Demonstrated strong attention to detail
Experience creating and delivering presentations
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
Ability to learn quickly and solve problems
Strong analytical skills
Collaborative and inclusive team player
Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
The estimated salary range for this position is $21.00USD to $23.00USD. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive compensation.
