Summary:

  • Submit and validate UCD reports with custodial file processing. Endure validation with funding. 
  • Process loan purchase fundings for delivery of loans. 
  • Accurately and timely reviews and audits on asset owned and investor-owned loans. 
  • Ensure investor cash loan delivers are processed accurately and timely. 
  • Ensure all mail electronic and paper is processed daily.  
  • Communicate clearly with internal and external clients/colleagues  
  • Problem solve as issues arise and review current practices for potential efficiency gains  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the Loan Sale and Commitment of Loans to Investors. 
  • Deliver closed mortgage loans to the secondary market investor. 
  • Serve as the first line responder for all investor suspense conditions. 
  • Coordinate the prompt response for all investor suspense conditions. 
  • Run/pull daily reports identifying any outstanding documents or conditions that affect the closed loan.  
  • Transfer MERS data once the mortgage loan has been purchased by the investor. 
  • Audits complete, signed closing packages, upon return from closing agents, and resolves pre- and post-closing defects on closing documents including notes, security instruments and Closing Disclosures.  
  • Review CD for accuracy and TRID compliance. 
  • Submit and validate UCD reports with custodial file processing.  
  • Calculate and balance purchase advices on loan sales 
  • Expertise in mortgage industry and considered an expert.  
  • Lead team members on projects and tasks.  
  • Communicate any issues, concerns and feedback directly to Manager.  
  • Review reports for timelines and delivery dates. 
  • Provide feedback for process efficiencies and budget savings. 

Skills/Experience Required:

  • 2-4 years of loan experience.  
  • Working experience with reading, understanding and interpreting servicing regulations 
  • Good data entry and keyboarding skills, technical aptitude or basic programming preferred 
  • Good organizational skills and time management.  
  • Bachelor’s Degree
