Key position requirements include:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience administering a Salesforce environment
  • A minimum of 3--5 years of experience working with Process Builder, Workflow, Triggers, Flows, and other Salesforce platform technologies
  • A comprehensive understanding of Salesforce.com configuration and technical/functional capabilities, including understanding potential system implications of changes
  • A working knowledge of content and visual design skills
  • Working knowledge in system integration using various third party products that integrate with the Salesforce platform
  • 3 - 5 years' experience in Agile teams
  • 3 - 5 years of software development best practices
  • A working knowledge of software development methodologies, software testing methods, change management best practices and related processes
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability in teamwork, collaboration and partnership
  • Demonstrated communications with product business owners, IT systems leadership, and other stakeholders to ensure solution functionality meets business needs

 

Preferred requirements

  • A minimum of 1-2 years Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience
  • Working knowledge in troubleshooting basic Apex, Visualforce code
  • One or more of the following Salesforce Certifications:
    • Salesforce Certified Administrator (ADM201)
    • Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator (ADM301)
    • Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder
    • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer 1
    • Salesforce Certified Force.com Developer (DEV401)

Specific role responsibilities include:

Software Development:

  • Full application lifecycle development using 'clicks-not-code' functionality of the Salesforce Sales and Service cloud products
  • Technical design and documentation of solutions based on customer requirements
  • Complete Unit Testing of solutions
  • Evaluate and design solutions based on customer needs
  • Implement changes and enhancements into Salesforce
  • Coordinate all platform system changes within Change Management
  • Manage and report key system metrics
  • Maintaining updated system documentation and SFDC policies/procedures.
  • Maintaining, enhancing and creating workflows, validation rules, and related functions and configurations within the Salesforce.com environment.
  • Creates and maintains fields, views, reports, dashboards, campaigns and other salesforce.com objects and functions.

 

Software Testing:

  • Perform Unit and SIT Testing
  • Test and implement BAU changes / enhancements as assigned
  • Repair defects identified during System Acceptance Testing (SIT)
  • Repair defects identified during User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Coordinate project testing with Enterprise Software Testing team
