  • Responsible for the audit of closed correspondent loans to ensure they were closed correctly, are complete and meet compliance (State and Federal), legal and WB guidelines.

  • Complete minimum number of loans reviewed as determined by volume

  • Review documents for completeness and accuracy

  • Create conditions in LOS for missing or incorrect items; receive and review documentation to clear conditions or provide further communication.

  • Interpret a variety of instructions, guidelines, regulations in written and oral form

  • Manage individual pipeline to ensure loans cured within SLA

  • Create accurate wire requests

  • Work with internal partners to clear files for purchase

  • Work with Servicing relative to on-boarding issues

Key skills/experience qualifications for the role:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • At least three (3) years of experience in closing or Post-Closing with an understanding of the lending process and procedures preferred

  • Knowledge and experience in compliance to include TRID, RESPA as well as all applicable state and federal regulations

  • PowerLender experience preferred

  • Working knowledge of residential loan processing, underwriting and closing documents

  • Ability to pay attention to detail while handling a high volume of work and multiple interruptions.

  • Proficient computer skills (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams

The estimated salary range for this position is $24.00 to $27.00 USD an hour. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive compensation.
