The Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator is a subject matter expert in Salesforce Marketing Cloud. This individual will leverage a deep understanding of the capabilities and functionality of Salesforce Marketing Cloud to lead the development of new initiatives, enhancements, operations and production support for the platform. This individual will partner with business stakeholders on requirements for priority initiatives and leading developers in execution and delivery. This individual will also lead monthly releases for SFMC and respond to regular requests for reports, dashboards, views and error resolution.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES

  • Actively participates in the ongoing development of the Salesforce Marketing cloud application by serving as a builder/administrator.
  • Collaborates with business stakeholders to identify enhancements and new capabilities to meet their business needs within the Salesforce Marketing cloud platform.
  • Manages consultant developers to execute new projects, prioritizing their work, answering their questions, and acting as the project manager.
  • Manages the Service Now queue of production support tickets for the Salesforce Marketing platform.
  • Assists end-users with error troubleshooting and support for the Salesforce Marketing cloud platform.
  • Make recommendations regarding system standards and end user procedures.
  • Develop and provide training to colleagues on how to use advanced application functionality to allow for self-service.
  • Monitor and evaluate new Salesforce release features and functionality and provide recommendations for process improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulations, policies, and procedures.

 

EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS

 

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field required
  • 8+ years of experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, CRM Platforms and Digital Transformation
  • Expert in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and experience working in the Scaled Agile Framework
  • Extensive experience with Journey Builder, Automation studio, Web studio, Email studio and Audience Builder
  • Certifications for Marketing cloud Admin, Marketing cloud Email specialist and/or Salesforce Admin
  • In depth understanding of the capabilities and constraints of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud and connectivity to Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud
  • Ability to connect to overall business strategy and design and execute on department strategy
  • Able to build successful relationships with all levels of staff and management.
  • Comfortable working independently in an evolving and changing environment
  • Proven ability to create innovative solutions to solve customer and client challenges
  • Strong research, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working independently in an evolving and changing environment
  • Flexible and willing to participate in activities outside core job description
