Finance Digital Strategy, Managing Director position is critical to the build out of the Finance Transformation office. The position will support the initiation and execution of the bank wide LFI readiness program, specifically for Finance activities such as 2052a Liquidity and CCAR Reports such as FRY-14 Annual, Quarterly and Monthly reports, Controls and Data Governance related work, Data Foundation work etc.

Finance Digital Strategy MD will play a critical role in aligning key executive stakeholders in finance around strategic priorities, strategic architecture and systems alignment, project execution selecting the right software, architecture and systems implementation partners as well as help lay out the strategy and roadmap for implementation.

In addition, the position will assist in creating a Finance intake process to support prioritization of initiatives as well as conduct the intake ceremonies and advise on the best use of Finance systems budgets and resources.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Help finance executive stakeholders create and execute on a digital strategy

  • Stakeholder Management:

    • FP&A

    • Accounting

    • Treasury

    • Data Science

    • Resolution Planning

    • SoX

    • Data Governance

  • Maintain Key Initiative Dashboard & create stakeholder reports

  • Define and lead the Finance Intake process

  • Help with Prioritization, Scheduling, Resourcing

  • Co-ordinate with Enterprise IT functions

    • Finance IT

    • LoB IT

    • Data Functions

    • Data Governance

    • Enterprise Architecture

  • Help align projects to Strategy

  • Help decompose strategy into projects and projects into further granular executable components

  • Participate in wave planning ceremonies

  • Track deliverables to completion

  • Support enterprise and finance objectives of:

    • LFI readiness

    • Automated regulatory reporting

    • Faster and automated close

    • Automated SEC reporting

    • Enhanced Prudential Standards

    • Data Governance

This position will have a hybrid schedule and can be based onsite in Stamford, CT; Southington, CT; Waterbury, CT.

The estimated base salary range for this position is $170,000 USD to $180,000 USD.  Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive compensation.
