Overview:
The Technology and Data Solution Agility Delivery Leader is a senior leader responsible for managing the enterprise-wide strategic technology portfolio of work, which consists of both business-driven initiatives to increase value and technology-driven initiatives responsible for maintaining the safety and soundness of the bank. This leader manages the Technology Delivery team and coaches that team and others across the enterprise in Agile methodology best practices with a goal of maturing the bank’s Agile practices. This leader regularly communicates with senior and executive stakeholders for all business lines across the bank to ensure transparency and awareness of strategic initiative progress and impediments. The Agile Leader also provides oversight to ensure full governance with LPM and other internal (ATx/New Activity) practices.
Job Description:
- Responsible for managing the enterprise-wide strategic technology portfolio of work consisting of both business-driven initiatives to increase value and technology driven initiatives responsible for maintaining the safety & soundness of the bank.
- Meet regularly with executive leadership across the bank to ensure initiatives are aligned with strategic themes and accurately represented to the execution teams within the release train.
- Design, document, and implement a standard Lean Portfolio Management (LPM) framework across the enterprise.
- Establish and operate the portfolio Kanban’s for all business lines across the bank to visualize the progression of initiatives from ideation to completion.
- Plan, facilitate, and document results from the portfolio syncs.
- Provide regular open communication to the senior and executive stakeholders for all business lines across the bank to ensure transparency and awareness of strategic initiative progress and impediments.
- Facilitate daily LPM standup and assigned sprint initiatives.
- Handle other administrative tasks such as conducting meetings, facilitating collaboration, and eliminating hurdles affecting project/initiative progress.
- Understand the strategy for each line of business/value stream and the alignment of proposed initiatives to be able to participate fully and provide guidance in prioritization.
- Coordinate strategic funding processes (Resource Allocation Meeting (RAM)/other) for executive and c-level review and approval, to ensure full alignment with approved financial plans and support monthly accrual reporting.
- Provide oversight to ensure full governance with LPM and other internal (ATx/New Activity) practices. Identify, resolve, or escalate all exceptions.
- Provide on-going training and coaching about LPM and SAFe Agile practices at all levels across the bank to enable all interested participants to have a similar understanding of how these practices operate.
- Work with Lean Agile Center of Excellence (LACE) and other Agile roles to improve the way that LPM operates, makes decisions, and achieves continuous value flow.
- Actively participate in Program Increment (PI) planning to ensure accountability and ownership for the planning of key priorities.
- Report PI results across the lines of business/value streams and monitor that execution remains aligned to commitments.
- Participate in Core Program Office prioritization activities to establish and maintain single source of truth for EMC level prioritization decisions
- Oversee the creation and review of key metrics, outcomes, and reporting to access product deliveries.
- Design and build dashboards based on stakeholder input that combine data from the Initiative, Epic, and Story levels.
- Administrate all functionality within the Daptiv PPM system.
- Provide oversight and governance for the Technology time tracking processes.
Experience & Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or directly related field required; advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of Technical Program/Product Management experience, at least 5 of which were in a supervisory capacity.
- Extensive knowledge and experience with product management lifecycle using Agile frameworks (SAFe, Scrum, KANBAN). CSM and SAFe certifications preferred.
- 5+ years’ experience managing teams.
- Strong financial management and vendor management acumen.
- Able to build successful relationships with all levels of staff and management.
- Strong communication skills required.
- Track record of implementing transformational programs and processes.
The estimated salary range for this position is $155,000.00 to $175,000.00. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive compensation.
