The Sales enablement leader will lead sales strategy discussions with our sales leaders including build up for prospecting frameworks, alignment on enablement collateral and tools needed to support the sales process, support sales leaders with tools and productivity dashboards to help manage the sales teams and create a training/coaching approach for our bankers. This role requires a strategic thinker with expertise in CRM systems, marketing automation, sales enablement, data analytics, marketing operations, and compliance management in the financial services industry. The ideal candidate will collaborate with Sales, Marketing, IT, compliance, and other stakeholder teams to ensure that all sales enablement solutions align with business goals while adhering to banking regulations.
Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Implementation
Be a partner to our LOB leaders and sales leaders. Work together on developing a sales strategy closely aligning with growth goals for the organization. This leader will support Sponsor & Specialty, Commercial Real State & Capital Markets
Sales operations & management
- Oversee that sales operations are always up and running, aligning on CRM, sales activities, sales opportunities and providing visibility into reports / dashboard for senior management.
- Establish sales analytics and intelligence data governance; selection and definition of metrics, reporting, dashboards and trends
- Provide Bank sales leadership support including pipeline management and forecasting; with consistent sales performance metrics calibrated across the Commercial
- Implement sales management process for simplification, improvement and consistency across all units
Sales onboarding and Sales Council
- Ensure new sales members are onboarded quickly and consistently with expectations of sales approach and process
- Develop and evaluate effectiveness of sales incentive plan design; aligning goal setting to long range financial plan, while partnering with Commercial Bank Analytics on sales comp plan administration
- Lead administration of Webster Sales Council (WSC), including WSC Board and program of sales teams across the footprint focused on referring the totality of banking with Webster cross lines of business
Marketing collateral leader
- Work closely with the marketing team to ensure sales teams have all they need. This leader will drive use of our sales enablement technology including SF.com and Seismic as our main tools.
- Collaborate with marketing growth strategy partners on sales force design and deployment focused on prospecting initiatives in growth markets with related development opportunities
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Leadership
- Partner with marketing, IT, compliance, sales and other stakeholder teams to implement customer-centric marketing solutions.
- Train marketing and sales enablement teams on best practices for using MarTech platforms and automation tools.
- Work with external vendors, agencies, and consultants to drive innovation in digital marketing efforts.
Required:
- 15+ years of experience in Marketing and Sales Enablement roles
- Experience supporting sponsor finance and alike business
- Strong knowledge of CRM systems (Salesforce) and marketing automation tools.
- Experience with data analytics, segmentation, and campaign performance tracking.
- Strong knowledge of sales enablement tools – (e.g. Seismic)
- Understanding of financial services marketing compliance (GDPR, CCPA, CAN-SPAM, etc.).
- Proficiency in performance reporting tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Tableau, Qlik)
- Ability to manage cross-functional projects and collaborate with IT, compliance, and marketing teams.
Preferred:
- Experience in Commercial, banking, fintech, or highly regulated industries.
- Knowledge of AI-driven personalization, chatbots, and customer journey automation.
- Familiarity with API integrations between marketing platforms and core banking systems.
- Certifications in CRM, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketo, or Google Analytics.

The estimated salary range for this position is $175,000.00 to $200,000.00. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive compensation.
