We are seeking a seasoned Commercial Lending Technology Leader to oversee the management and modernization of 6-8 high impact, mission-critical lending applications. This role will be responsible for both transformation and ongoing production support of these system, ensuring stability, scalability and alignment with business goals.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in banking technology, particularly within the commercial lending domain, and demonstrate strong proficiency in agile methodologies. A proven track record of lending in highly controlled and regulated environments is essential. The role demands strategic vision, technical depth, and operational excellence to support both innovation and reliability.

Key responsibilities for the role:

  • Application Ownership: Managed end to end Lifecyle of these applications in commercial lending area, including both transformation and production support.
  • Technology strategy & Transformation: Define and drive modernization roadmaps to align with the business goals, regulatory requirements, and enterprise architecture standards.
  • Lead the current software implementations and propose and implement changes designed to improve business and IT efficiencies.
  • Lead the work with business users and vendors to analyze new software features and upgrades and provide an impact analysis on downstream processes and systems.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate closely with business, operations, compliance, risk and other technology teams to ensure applications support key objectives and service level expectations.
  • Team Leadership: Provide direction and mentorship to cross-functional teams including developers, BAs and support team.
  • Budget and Oversight: Manage budgets, resource planning and vendor relationships to optimize cost efficiency and performance across teams

Key skills/experience qualifications for the role:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience with Commercial Lending application required.
  • 15+ years of professional IT and business systems/analysis experience.
  • Strong understanding of commercial lending business processes.
  • Understanding of regulatory concepts, including but not limited to SOx.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a directly related field.
  • Computer Science degree preferred.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Excellent and proven interpersonal skills to include: verbal, written and technical communication.

 

The estimated salary range for this position is $170,000.00 to $190,000.00. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive compensation.
