The Managing Director is a Product Owner and leader supporting MULTIPLE business partner needs for major Risk Technology and Actimize business functions/departments and value streams.  Responsible for effectively managing teams of Technology professionals and drive the teams toward producing value added results. With a customer centricity mindset, partner with senior business leaders to jointly create a product and strategy roadmap that advances the business goals and creates highest value.  This position has accountability for the operational stability of IT solutions supporting their assigned business functions.  This would include technical ownership of critical systems aligned with that business function.

 

Job Responsibilities and Duties

 

  • Meet Risk business goals for NICE Actimize, Lexis Nexis, and other fraud/AML products and solutions delivered by the team must meet the economic business goals jointly established by the business and technology teams
  • This is a technical and business knowledgeable position where the key engagements may include setting strategy and creating program roadmaps, data quality programs, system implementations, model validations, tuning and optimization, end-to-end testing, and post go-live validations.
  • Assure IT efficiencies and performance metrics which are achieved for the reliability and stability of key platforms and systems.
  • Identify and initiate work process for improvements that lead to increased productivity.
  • NICE Actimize Fraud and AML experience is a plus Strong process Improvement background as well as data analysis, forensics and data traceability.  SnowFlake, SQL and Excel   

Ability to interpret the results of data analyses to identify patterns and reach conclusions*

Ability to use SQL to create and analyze large data sets

Conduct in-depth analyses of  AML/Fraud-related data sets

Identify gaps and irregularities within AML/Fraud data

  • Provide guidance on the architecture and process flow of NICE Actimize Fraud and AML (X-Sight or XSE)
  • Customer Centricity and understanding customer needs - As the internal representative (Voice) of the customer, continually leverage market research and trends to be able to provide best customer value.
  • Review and approve design, technical, and/or operational specifications developed by teams.
  • Define clear work goals in line with business goals and establish departmental priorities and expectations.
  • Lead the planning and delivery of major initiatives
  • Prepare annual department budget
  • Strong Communication skills where you can speak technical as well as business rationale.
  • Review and approve design alternatives brought forth by teams.
  • Liaise with senior management and provide reports/updates related to department performance as requested.

 

Experience Needed for the Role

  • Bachelor's Degree in directly related field required; advanced degree strongly required.
  • 10+ years of complex software development experience, at least 5 of which were in a supervisory capacity.
  • 5+ years experience managing teams supporting their assigned business domain.
  • Extensive knowledge of system development life cycle, client area’s functions, and systems and applications program development alternatives.
  • NICE Actimize experience a plus
  • Strong financial management and vendor management acumen.
  • Able to build successful relationships with all levels of staff and management.
  • Experience in product management lifecycle, background in Agile framework. 

The estimated salary range for this position is $185,000.00 to $200,000.00. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive compensation.
