The Commercial Sales & MarTech Innovation Manager will lead the implementation, optimization, and integration of Commercial Banking marketing technology platforms to drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention. This role requires a strategic thinker with expertise in CRM systems, marketing automation, sales enablement, data analytics, marketing operations, and compliance management in the financial services industry. The ideal candidate will collaborate with marketing, IT, compliance, sales, and other stakeholder teams to ensure that all MarTech solutions align with business goals while adhering to banking regulations.
Responsibilities:
MarTech & SalesTech Strategy & Implementation
Develop and execute a Marketing and Sales Enablement technology strategy roadmap to support business objectives in Marketing, Sales Enablement and Client Experience.
Evaluate, select, and integrate CRM, marketing automation, AI-driven personalization, and analytics platforms.
Ensure all technologies align with business objectives and compliance requirements.
Marketing Automation & CRM Management
Oversee the implementation of marketing automation tools (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud).
Optimize lead scoring, nurturing workflows, and omnichannel marketing campaigns (email, paid media).
Ensure seamless integration between CRM, website, and digital advertising platforms.
Data Analytics & Performance Optimization
Work with Analytics partners and stakeholders to:
Utilize customer data, analytics, (and AI) to enhance campaign effectiveness and improve conversion rates.
Implement data-driven segmentation and personalization strategies to increase customer engagement.
Establish KPIs and dashboards using Google Analytics, Qlik, and other reporting tools.
Compliance & Security in Marketing Technology
Ensure all MarTech tools comply with banking regulations (GDPR, CCPA, financial privacy laws).
Work closely with compliance and IT security teams to mitigate risks in customer data handling.
Maintain audit trails and data governance protocols for all marketing technologies.
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Leadership
Partner with marketing, IT, compliance, sales and other stakeholder teams to implement customer-centric marketing solutions.
Train marketing and sales enablement teams on best practices for using MarTech platforms and automation tools.
Work with external vendors, agencies, and consultants to drive innovation in digital marketing efforts.
Educations, Skills & Experience:
Required:
5-7+ years of experience in marketing technology, digital marketing, or related roles.
Vendor management experience from discovery, procurement, to onboarding including budgeting.
Strong knowledge of CRM systems (Salesforce) and marketing automation tools.
Experience with data analytics, segmentation, and campaign performance tracking.
Strong knowledge of sales enablement tools - (e.g. Seismic)
Understanding of financial services marketing compliance (GDPR, CCPA, CAN-SPAM, etc.).
Proficiency in performance reporting tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Tableau, Qlik)
Ability to manage cross-functional projects and collaborate with IT, compliance, and marketing teams.
Preferred:
Experience in banking, fintech, or highly regulated industries.
Knowledge of AI-driven personalization, chatbots, and customer journey automation.
Familiarity with API integrations between marketing platforms and core banking systems.
Certifications in CRM, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketo, or Google Analytics.
The estimated salary range for this position is $95,000.00 to $100,000.00 USD annually. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive compensation.
