Portfolio Manager, in our Commercial Banking V&S, to assist with the management of the team’s sales and service efforts, to ensure the retention and or deepening of existing relationships as well as the growth of new relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service for new and existing clients.
  • Manage internal reports, ensuring a timely turnaround of all client requests as well as a timely production of Salesforce inputs.
  • Support the Segment Leader with necessary actions required for the overall growth of the line business.
  • Support Relationship Managers with necessary actions required for new client sales as well as growth within existing client relationships.
  • Maintain appropriate files and control procedures including monitoring the receipt of documentation for a new client as well growth for an existing client.
  • Approve or obtain proper approval of overdrafts/uncollected as well as other accounts within limits of lending authority. 
  • Ensure compliance with all regulations, policies, and procedures.

Education, Skill & Experience

  • Candidates with advanced degrees (Associates, Bachelor’s, and/or Master’s) preferred, yet a High School diploma or GED is required.  Candidates with some combination of coursework and experience, or else extensive related professional experience, are eligible for consideration.
  • Knowledge of banking and relationship management techniques.
  • Knowledge of banking regulations, deposit policies, procedures and techniques and well demonstrated understanding of deposit risk factors. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and strong negotiating skills.

The estimated salary range for this position is $80,000 to $100,000. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive compensation.
