The Human Resources Manager provides senior level HR leadership, support and coaching to designated lines of business. Partners closely with business leaders and HR centers of excellence to ensure alignment and execution of HR and business initiatives and strategy. Serves as a domain expert in Employee Relations matters. ? Strategic Business Partner to assigned Lines of Business. Acts as talent champion to attract, develop, engage and retain the industry's best talent. ? Ensures the HR agenda anticipates business and customer needs; be a trusted, approachable and responsive business partner and employee advocate ? Leads team who partners with senior leaders, managers and individual employees to deliver proactive HR solutions to meet strategic business needs. Provides ongoing coaching and development to team members to inspire and deliver high performance ? Provides leadership, oversight, coaching and counseling as it relates to employee relations matters. Ensures bank-wide investigation standards, as well as tools and resources available to HRBPs and managers. Makes certain there is consistency in the management of employee complaints, policy interpretation and compliance. ? Manage processes, tracking and reporting as it relates to employee relations matters. Identify bank-wide trends and solutions. ? Ensures leaders and managers are developing talent with the right capabilities to meet current and future business needs ? Creates and enhances HR programs to align with the organization's strategic objectives and recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in business objectives, productivity and the development of HR within the company ? Coaches and challenges senior leaders to inspire and unlock potential and strengthen performance ? Interprets and implements Webster Bank policies and procedures in a consistent manner to ensure compliance with all appropriate local laws and regulations ? Advises and counsels leaders on performance and conflict resolutions ? Partners effectively with HR Centers of Excellence to provide best-in-class support and consistency with Webster's internal customers Requirements: * Bachelor's degree, advanced degree preferred * 10+ year's progressive HR experience including business partnering * Knowledge of US labor laws and landscape * Ability to work in a complex, matrixed business model * Proven experience in Employee relations and/or labor environment * Strong ability to leverage domain expertise and generate buy in to approach and solutions * Demonstrated strong communication and collaboration skills
