Fixed Asset Manager with a strong background in fixed asset and lease accounting, asset lifecycle management, and financial reporting. Proven ability to oversee the acquisition, capitalization, depreciation, and disposal of fixed assets in compliance with GAAP and internal policies. Skilled in implementing asset tracking systems, conducting audits, and collaborating cross-functionally with finance, operations, and IT teams to ensure accurate asset records and optimize capital expenditures. Adept at managing asset and lease portfolios, streamlining processes, and supporting strategic decision-making through insightful analysis and reporting.Job Summary:

Adept at managing asset and lease portfolios, streamlining processes, and supporting strategic decision-making through insightful analysis and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the maintenance and reconciliations of fixed asset and lease subledgers and related general ledger accounts.
Review asset additions, disposals, transfers and depreciation schedules.
Ensure compliance with internal capitalization policies and GAAP.
Manage lease accounting process in compliance with ASC 842.
Review lease agreements to determine accounting treatment.
Collaborate with corporate real estate colleagues on lease and accounting tasks.
Assist in preparation and filing of annual personal property tax returns.
Assist with fixed asset and lease disclosures for financial statements and SEC filings.
Review journal entries.
Lead process improvement initiatives for fixed asset and lease accounting.
Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and analysis.
Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures.
Train and mentor colleagues on fixed asset and lease accounting practices.
Experience, Education and Skill Sets:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
4 - 6 years accounting experience in public accounting of financial services industry preferred
Experience in fixed asset and/or lease accounting.
Advanced excel skills and proficiency in financial analysis.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
Knowledge of internal controls and SOX compliance.
The estimated salary range for this position is $95,000USD to $105,000USD. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive compensation.
