Job summary:

This position will be a dedicated Private Banking Trust accounting data expert with thorough understanding of the Private Banking business, the data/tools needed to support the business, the current data deficiencies, and the vision for what is needed to support the business. Incumbent will work with the primary trust application vendor, SEI and various IT and Corporate BSA Compliance business partners to coordinate appropriate Webster Bank and Private Bank Trust system interfaces, enhancements, and information reporting needs.


Perform a variety of duties in support of the Private Bank Trust Department including but not limited to:

  • Become proficient with various Fiduciary databases and reports created within the Private Bank such as SEI Wealth Platform (and corresponding BOXI reports), Relationship Detail, Inflow/Outflow Report, TAC Database, Discretionary Payments and WPB Collateral Monitoring, SharePoint site. Administer these systems, creating interfaces for back-office users to maintain supporting data (employees, assignments, passwords)
  • Become familiar with current Fiduciary and Webster Bank core applications and CDR utilized by the Private Bank Trust and work with various Subject Matter Experts (SME). Gain overall understanding of current interfaces and line of business reporting challenges and provide enhancement solutions and/or recommendations.
  • Expert product knowledge is critical as this individual will be expected to respond to a large volume of standard and custom ad-hoc fiduciary information reporting requests from all levels within the Trust department
  • Develop and maintain interfaces and reporting tools for line of business databases and other technology needs within the Webster's Private Bank Trust Department.
  • Capture business requirements for systems enhancements in support of Private Bank's Trust department. Understand client needs; research and document business requirements; oversee testing for system upgrades, enhancements, and conversions. Work closely with Webster systems and various Private Bank trust personnel.
  • Create required documentation for system enhancements, problem logs and changes to line of business created systems to meet audit and compliance needs.
  • Recommend solutions for data gathering to meet the needs of the Private Bank Trust Department. Participate in process improvement initiatives as they arise.
  • Manage and oversee the SEI vendor release management process and review upcoming enhancements with appropriate SME's and vendor. Monitor and address platform issues arising from post release production environment.
  • Work closely with IT/PB to coordinate development of a sustainable data environment meeting Private Bank Trust department needs.
  • Possession of strong technical skills, a high degree of curiosity and the ability to translate technical results into business recommendations.
  • Perform other administrative fiduciary support functions as necessary within the competencies and skill levels identified for this position.
  • Assist in the production of mailing lists and assuring they are fully compliant with all applicable regulations. This includes email, mail, call, etc.
  • Administer various departmental forms, procedures and/or documents.
  • Manage and assign access to the end client website, SEI ECX, which includes site messaging and collaborating with WOL team for single sign on users.
  • Administer the SharePoint site for the Private Bank
  • Assist in gathering data and information requested by OCC Asset Management examiners and Internal Audit.
  • Assist in compiling and preparing various documents for Trust Management and Trust Committee.
  • Assist Fiduciary team as needed during peak work volumes periods.


  • BA/BS required -- Math or MIS
  • Wealth Management systems experience a plus
