This remote role is responsible for direct, self-sourced origination of residential mortgage loans.

What you will do

• Solicit and originate residential mortgage loans through established book of business and COI network.
• Maintain and develop existing and cultivate new referral sources on an ongoing basis.
• Demonstrate thorough understanding of diverse mortgage programs and requirements and is able to determine appropriate lending options based on customer’s needs and financial circumstances.
• Complete quality, comprehensive mortgage applications by obtaining and analyzing pertinent financial and credit data for submission to Loan Processing and Underwriting and manage timely communications and updates throughout mortgage process.

Skills and Abilities

• Thorough knowledge of conventional, FHA/VA, and state agency loan requirements.
• Proven ability to search out and acquire new business.
• Excellent communication, organization, computer and customer service skills.

Education Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) degree preferred

Experience Qualifications

• 10-11 years of experience in residential mortgage origination required

 The estimated salary range for this position is $15.00 to $17.00 USD hourly. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive compensation.
