For IT business solutions specific to the Commercial Business Line, lead a team of developers and analysts in formulating and defining system scope and objectives based on both user needs and a thorough understanding of business systems and industry requirements.
Job Duties
- Use comparative analysis techniques to evaluate and recommend overall IT solutions for client/organization.
- Provide consulting services to internal business groups and peers on process improvement projects designed to improve business and IT results.
- Lead team in the requirements analysis activities for the projects to which they are assigned.
- As the internal representative (voice) of the customer, continually leverage market research and trends to be able to provide best customer value.
- Lead design, build and test planning phases for medium to large scope enhancements and projects.
- Coordinate production releases with internal and external partners.
- Manage associated risks effectively by producing appropriate risk mitigation plans.
- Manage IT vendor relationships to ensure conformance with agreed upon SLAs.
- Provide consistent, accurate and timely updates to team members and management as to the status and issues surrounding projects and tasks.
- Work with manager for resource and systems capacity planning and estimation efforts for the applications development team to which assigned.
- Participate in budgeting exercise for the department.
- Interact with IT and PMO Senior Management on application level as well enterprise-wide project planning and execution. Create and track project plans as necessary.
- Responsible for satisfactory internal and external audits of systems by ensuring compliance with Bank's policies such as IT Governance, Info Security and more.
- Review and generate all the necessary documentation. As needed, utilize requirement management tools.
- As needed, provide emergency IT support. Represent the application team in Change Control meetings.
- Analyze impacts and share information between the team and Change Control Board meetings as necessary.
Minimum requirements for a new hire in this role are:
- Master’s degree in engineering technology, electrical and computer engineering, embedded systems, computer science, or closely related field.
- 5 years of experience in any job title with duties involving designing and managing IT and business systems, including leading implementation by employee teams; or bachelor’s degree and 7 years of experience, including 5 years leading implementation by employee teams
Expertise required in:
- Problem identification; business gap analysis; solution designing of artificial intelligence (AI) and intelligent automation solutions; leading technical solution development and AI related research activities by engaging cross functional teams and business stakeholders; and continuous monitoring and debugging/troubleshooting of intelligent automation/AI solutions.
