Director Loan Operation – Payoff, Investor Accounting and Reconciliation
Position Summary
Responsible for setting up and maintaining Residential, and Consumer Loan Systems, including MSP Payees & Investors and all General Ledger Accounts relating to the systems. Oversees the Operations of the Investor Accounting and Payoff Department.
Responsibilities
- Manage 10-15 employees in Loan Operations such as Reconciliations, Payoff, and Investor Accounting.
- Support external and internal Audit, Risk, and SOX and in compiling reports schedules and conducting research.
- Post loan related activity and reconcile to third part reporting.
- Responsible for setting up and maintaining Residential and Consumer Loans systems, including MSP Payees & Investors and all General Ledger accounts relating to the systems. Oversees the Operations of the Investor Accounting Department. Responsible for ensuring all investor guidelines are adhered to, including the accurate and timely reporting.
- Completes all required Accounting reports and remittances accurately within the allotted timeframes for each investor/master servicer. Working knowledge of investor contracts and guidelines.
- Set up and maintain templates in CMIS for Residential and Consumer Loan Charge Offs, Recoveries, Modifications, and Deferrals
- Set up Payees on MSP System
- Set up Cost Centers and Branches in Consumer/Small Business System
- Open all General Ledger Accounts relating to Residential, Consumer and Small Business Loans.
- Set up and maintain templates in CMIS for Residential and Consumer Loan Charge Offs, Recoveries, Modifications, and Deferrals
- Oversee daily reconciliation of select group of DDA’s and General Ledger Accounts.
- Oversee daily reconciliation of CECL G/L activity to CMIS activity
- Oversee monthly run of select manual MSP reports
Education, Experience and Skills
- Minimum 6 years work experience
- Minimum 2 years Supervisory experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills essential.
- Working experience with reading, understanding and interpreting service contracts.
- MSP & ALS systems experience would be beneficial.
- Excellent data entry and keyboarding skills, technical aptitude or basic programming
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred (preferably in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics)
- Minimum 2 years Supervisory experience
The estimated salary range for this position is $95,000 to $119,000 Annual. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive compensation.
