As a Content Marketing Director for Webster Bank supporting the Commercial Banking line of business, you’ll be responsible for developing and implementing a B2B content plan and leading B2B marketing projects that supports client and prospect needs and business goals.
Responsibilities:
- Drive a successful content strategy for the Commercial Bank that is engaging and is inclusive of business goals across all channels including the websterbank.com website, social media channels (LinkedIn knowledge required), email marketing, digital applications, presentations, webinars, events, guides, print collateral, video and more.
- Create content briefs detailing scope, deadlines, audience segmentation, deliverables, messaging and objectives.
- Foster an environment that is conducive to creative development with a strong attention to detail.
- Write, edit and review copy for all channels to align with brand voice and style guide.
- Recommend and implement innovative ways to efficiently manage content and reach our audiences.
- Present marketing plans and project updates to internal teams
- Collaborate and solicit feedback from cross functional teams to develop accurate and engaging content.
- Manage content marketing projects using our marketing operations systems and internal project management processes to adhere to deadlines.
- Work with our agency, marketing teams and LOB stakeholders to create a plan for relevant content needed to support our strategic objectives.
- Research competitors and products in the commercial space to stay relevant.
- Own and manage deployment of content in sales enablement platforms - experience in Seismic/Highspot preferred.
Education, Skills & Experience:
- Experience managing complex projects by building strong working relationships with multiple internal and external partners across all departments and levels of the organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Journalism, Business, Communications or relevant field.
- 7+ years professional experience, with a strong content marketing portfolio - B2B financial content preferred.
- Account management experience preferred.
- Able to deal with ambiguity and problem solve.
- Strong planning, organization and project management skills
- Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications
- Experience with Workfront (marketing operations platform), CRM (Salesforce preferred), an asset management system, and Adobe Acrobat Pro preferred.
- Experience in financial services and commercial banks preferred.
- Experience with sales enablement tools
The estimated salary range for this position is $120,000 USD to $140,000 USD. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive compensation.
