Construction Loan Servicer Summary:

The role is responsible for providing dedicated Construction Loan Servicing to the Construction Loan portfolio. A Construction Loan Servicer will work with a small team on a shared portfolio with tasks being assigned to each member of the team to service the portfolio. They also work closely with originators, outside vendors for inspections, and frequent borrower contact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ability to deliver high quality professional service to internal and external customers, understanding all aspect of construction loan processing, ensuring requests are processed accurately within established policies and departmental procedures.
  • Review loan files for required documentation and familiarity of project.
  • Reviews completed inspections, calculates, and ensures that loan meets criteria and policies for disbursement.
  • Contacts customers on a regular basis for follow up and answer questions.
  • Maintains awareness of the construction project throughout the construction period and works with borrower and management to ensure project will meet designated timeframes outlined in the borrower's documents.
  • Reviews and prepares loans for modifications and deferral
  • Makes required system changes
  • Performs all other duties that may be assigned by Supervisor or Manager

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office product suite
  • Working Knowledge of MSP is preferred

Education:

  • Some College is preferred or at least 3-5 years experience in Loan Servicing, prior experience with Construction lending preferred.
