We are seeking an experienced Core Banking Systems Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing, supporting, and enhancing our Fiserv core banking systems to ensure operational efficiency, security, and scalability. You will work closely with various teams, including IT, product management, and operations, to analyze requirements, recommend solutions, and implement system improvements. This is a critical role that ensures our core banking infrastructure meets the evolving needs of our customers and the bank.
Key Responsibilities:
* System Analysis & Maintenance:
Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues within the Fiserv core banking system. Ensure optimal performance, uptime, and data accuracy.
* Requirements Gathering & Documentation: Collaborate with stakeholders in an Agile framework to gather requirements for system enhancements, integrations, and new modules. Document functional specifications and workflows.
* Agile Collaboration: Participate in Agile ceremonies, such as Sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. Work with an Agile team to prioritize and refine the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business needs.
* System Upgrades & Implementations: Lead or support the planning, testing, and implementation of upgrades, patches, and new modules in the core banking platform.
* Data Integrity & Reporting: Monitor data integrity within the core system, ensuring consistency and compliance with regulatory standards. Develop and maintain system reports as needed.
* User Support & Training: Provide technical support to users, offering guidance and troubleshooting for core system-related issues. Assist in training sessions for new features or processes.
* Compliance & Security: Ensure that core banking processes and data handling are compliant with regulatory standards and internal security policies.
* Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving processes within the core banking system, leveraging automation and best practices to increase efficiency and reduce manual work.
* Vendor Management: Help coordinate with our core banking vendor for system maintenance, issue resolution, and enhancement requests.
Qualifications:
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
* Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience as a systems analyst, preferably within the financial or banking sector with direct exposure to core banking systems.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in core banking platforms. Experience with Fiserv Signature is a plus.
Strong understanding of SQL, data analysis, and database management is a plus.
Experience with system integrations, APIs, and data migration.
Familiarity with regulatory compliance (e.g., SOX) and security standards within banking.
Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and an ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
Proven experience working in Agile teams, including familiarity with Agile tools (JIRA and Confluence) and an understanding of Agile principles and ceremonies.
The estimated salary range for this position is $130,000USD to $140,000USD. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive compensation.
