Under the guidance of the Senior HR Business Partner, partner closely to provide HR support for assigned divisions. Assist in the delivery of HR services including employee relations, training and development, communications, compliance, compensation administration, rewards/recognition, and HR data and metrics.
-Provides employee relations coaching and counsel to ensure consistency of practice and policy interpretation.  Addresses, discusses and documents issues of importance, may provide conflict resolution, recommends/facilitates disciplinary measures, recommends terminations and conducts exit interviews.
-Supports talent acquisition as needed to interview applicants in an effort to build bench and upgrade talent.
-Assists in providing guidance to maximize effectiveness of performance management process.
-Assists client group leaders in total comp administration to include salary, incentives, and rewards/recognition.
-Assist in developing and/or implementing strategies to upgrade talent to include attracting top talent externally and develop high potential employees internally.
-Effectively utilizes internal HR centers of excellence to identify and share client group business needs.
-Assists in the communication and facilitation of compensation, benefits, training, and other centralized HR services.
-Partners with learning and development to create or facilitate targeted training opportunities.
-Edits and prepares articles for in-house communications, including monthly newsletter, bulletin boards, announcements etc.
-Process status change and termination paperwork as needed.
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, psychology or related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in an HR environment.
  • Demonstrated employee relation skills.
  • Experience applying the knowledge of Federal, State, Labor and Employment laws, Workers' compensation, FMLA, ADA and OSHA laws.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.  Ability to interact up, down and across an organization.
  • Strong facilitation, organization, and problem solving skills.
  • Strong/intermediate Excel, Power Point and Word skills (presentation design, v-lookups...)
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to adhere to and meet deadlines and to adjust to changing requirements promptly.
  • Ability to raise issues proactively and in a timely manner. Well-developed team skills, unquestioned integrity, and the experience, confidence and presence to effectively handle interpersonal relationships and sensitive company information and issues.
