This role will assist the GL Reconciliation Compliance Program Office manage its central responsibilities including facilitating updates to policy and procedures, supporting training, assisting with the risk assessment process, monitoring for timely completion of reconciliations,  supporting the reconciliation tool, compiling monthly and quarterly reports and coordinating testing on the reconciliations. 

Key responsibilities include:

- Ensure GL account strings have assigned reconcilers.

- Monitor GL reconciliation completion.

- Support the company’s GL reconciliation tool.

- Schedule and track testing of GL reconciliations for compliance to policy.

- Assist in the maintenance of the GL reconciliation policy and procedures.

- Support in the training and education of reconcilers on requirements.

- Assist in reporting and governance around GL reconciliation compliance.

Education, Experience and Skill requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft user tools such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of audit or risk methodology preferred
  • Ability to work with others in a positive way
  • Willingness to learn and develop

The estimated base salary range for this position is $80,000 USD to $85,000 USD.  Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive compensation.
