The Analyst, Corporate Accounting will help oversee activities related to the support of a complete and accurate general ledger, as well as applicable subledgers. The ideal candidate possesses strong communication and organizational skills, and a demonstrated eagerness to learn, grow, and contribute to continuous process improvement.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES

  • Performs moderately complex accounting activities, including the preparation, maintenance and reconciliation of general ledger accounts

  • Prepare accurate, well-documented journal entries; verify account balances and ensure proper accounting classifications across various financial reports.

  • Ensure that all proper internal controls, procedures and SOX requirements are followed

  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives aimed at increasing efficiency and accuracy.

  • Provide various support schedules and analysis for financial audits, both internally and externally

  • Ensure that financial deadlines are met, and that customer service is provided to all internal/external stakeholders.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent combination of education and work experience required

  • 1-4 years accounting experience in public accounting or the financial services industry preferred

  • Must be a flexible, independent team player with a positive attitude and willingness to step-in and provide support as needed

  • Ability to handle multiple priorities

  • Strong analytical skills and decision-making abilities

  • Excellent communication, organization and problem-solving skills required

  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

The estimated base salary range for this position is $ 70,000 USD to $ 85,000 USD.  Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive compensation.
