The Analyst, Business Systems will define user business and functional requirements for enhancements and projects, complex production support and root cause analysis, defining technology business solutions, and implementing technology business solutions. Assist business units achieve their objectives by evaluating, designing, completing application configurations, developing and/or implementing efficient solutions. Coordinate testing of to ensure proper performance and creating diagrams and flow charts. Serves as a liaison between the application vendor and end users as needed.
Responsibilities include:
Work with end users and vendors to identify the features, advantages, and disadvantages of various software applications and other related processes.
Coordinate application activities with the respective departmental users/owners with the input from management and provide recommendations.
Organize and is accountable for the support of the installation, upgrade, training, and information systems operational procedure documentation, problem resolution from the project or upgrade issues list and the ongoing enhancement process with the application systems assigned
Identify and evaluate operational problems, troubleshoots and facilitates suitable solutions with those involved, documenting the resolutions, timely notifying the end users and closing out service tickets.
Create and maintain document as necessary for operations and security audits
Ensure compliance with all regulations, policies, and procedures.
Experience needed:
Candidates with advanced degrees (Associates, Bachelor’s, and/or Master’s) preferred, yet a High School diploma or GED is required. Candidates with some combination of coursework and experience, or else extensive related professional experience, are eligible for consideration
3-5+ years' experience in technology business analyst work is required.
Banking experience is preferred.
Fiserv front end applications experience preferred.
Jira software experience preferred.
Experience with agile process management
Analysis and Review skills
Excellent communication and coordination skills
Excellent organizational skills
Strong analytical abilities
Highly versatile, be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously
The estimated salary range for this position is $70,000USD to $90,000USD. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive compensation.
