Position Summary:

Responsible for the development and management of one or more TPS products, including ACH, ARP and/or Positive Pay. Ensure products are marketable and profitable while focusing on quality to the customer and value to the bank.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage one or more products to optimize their contribution to the overall profitability of the TPS business.

Understand cost drivers and the competitive pricing landscape in order to recommend appropriate product pricing structure and pricing actions.

Perform Vendor Manager Responsibilities, including negotiating and executing contracts, evaluating & implementing new releases, participating in Vendor's User Groups and ensure vendor compliance with Webster standards.

Conduct competitive feature/functionality assessments to understand market trends and develop a strategy for the positioning of assigned products.

Combine competitive findings with client demand and vendor offerings in order to create recommendations, develop business cases, and implement approved product development initiatives.

Develop and maintain relationships with internal partners to provide training create sales collateral and help resolve issues.

Prepare and implement annual product plans to include marketing strategies, target segments, volume and revenue performance, profitability, risk assessment, issues, opportunities, and recommended actions.

Keep abreast of regulatory guidance on assigned products and work with business partners to ensure awareness and compliance.

Self-identify key risk issues and work with the TPS Risk Manager on mitigation and resolution actions. Sunset products or services which are no longer viable in the marketplace or profitable to the bank.

Education, Experience and Skills:

Location is flexible with preference in Boston and CT

Bachelor's degree in related field required; advanced degree a plus.

Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) desired.

5-8 years of experience in CM operations, service, and/or implementation.

Proven strong communication, presentation, organization, and analytical skills.

Customer service orientation.

Ability to work with all levels of management and support staff.
