Information Security

 

  • Direct, coordinate, and maintain Webster Bank Incident Response program to include, policy and procedure, analysis and documentation of incidents, and periodic Incident Management testing.
  • Oversee and maintain a comprehensive Crisis and Incident Response Team (CIRT) program, that ensures appropriate strategies, procedures, and plan verification methodologies are employed to minimize business disruption
  • Ensures annual CIRT testing is executed, is comprehensive, and does not disrupt the day-to-day activities of employees, customers, and business partners
  • Document and track Information Security incidents
  • Identify, analyze and document the risks associated with Webster's business operations, technology, systems and third parties
  • Demonstrate compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job functions and apply to designated job responsibilities -- knowledge may be gained through coursework and on-the-job training
  • Support and consult with IT and Business Lines to continually improve security posture for daily operations and new initiatives; verify that business processes are kept in-sync with security policies, standards and procedures
  • Administer Webster's Policy Framework, ensuring compliance with best practices and applicable regulations
  • Provide coverage when required for IT Problem process which is a 24x7x365

  • Provide timely information security leadership and direction to supporting departments
  • Collaborate with management in developing technical security directions, setting objectives, and setting realistic and challenging goals
  • Active participant and advocate for strong teamwork and cross team coordination
  • Ability to influence across functions and build collaborative relationships
