Position Summary:


As a Business Analyst, you are an integral part of a dynamic professional services team, whose core function is consult, design, and implement solutions to drive engagement and participation within our CDH product offering across HSA Bank’s integration book of business. Your primary responsibilities include understanding and assessing the impact of clients' business needs; analyzing and capturing requirements; communicating requirements to relevant stakeholders; monitoring the build of the solution and conducting user acceptance testing to ensure it meets the requirements.


Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the analysis and solution design for your assigned integration projects or enhancements.
  • Document and maintain business and functional requirements and ensure consistency.
  • Elicit requirements from end users to solve a business problem and identify the desired results.
  • Anticipate, quantify, and resolve problems and issues with requirements.
  • Communicate with clients and stakeholders using data process models to clarify and validate requirements.
  • Manage the technical solution implementation, testing, and observing initiation of the system to validate performance and ensure all business requirements and their integrity are maintained.
  • Serve as the conduit between the customer community (internal and external customers) and the development team through which requirements flow.
  • Identify and lead the design and execution for select process improvements across the integration value stream.
  • Provides support for escalated technical, operational and customer issues including but not limited to research of the issue, evaluation of solutions and follow up with respective parties within the scope of authority.
  • Utilize time management skills and multi-tasking capabilities to handle multiple and parallel projects, deliverables while working both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Occasional travel may be required.

 Minimum Experience and Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
  • Experience in the Healthcare or Insurance industry.
  • Experience developing and customizing requirements, process, and design documentation.
  • Demonstrated experience in multiple phases of the software development lifecycle and project management.
  • Ability to represent the organization effectively and professionally.
  • Critical thinker who can evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
  • Employ facilitation techniques in discussing requirements with clients. (e.g. Brainstorming, structured walk through, etc.)
  • Write logical, comprehensive, concise reports, correspondence; communicate effectively orally and in writing.
  • Well organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks at once to meet demanding deadlines.
  • Team player who can effectively work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office. (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Visio and SharePoint.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working with and presenting to executive level clients.
  • Experience with delivering system training and demo facilitation.
