  • A minimum of 5 - 8 years of experience developing Enterprise solutions on the Salesforce platform
  • A bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent combination of related education, training, and experience will be considered
  • A working knowledge of software development best practices, methodologies, testing strategies, change management and related processes
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation communications
  • Demonstrated senior ability in teamwork, collaboration and partnerships across enterprise stakeholders
  • Strong technical understanding of Force.com, Sales and Service Cloud technologies
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce design and development best practices, apex design parameters, governor limits, and shared platform best practices
  • Proven ability to evaluate code developed by others to assist in updating and adding new enhancements
  • Ability to provide architectural guidance as well as work hands-on with Salesforce Development teams
  • Extensive experience in Enterprise-level integrations between Salesforce and external systems including integrations with third party vendors
  • Ability to mentor team members on Salesforce architecture, best practices, and related technology
  • Expert knowledge of Apex Development and SOQL
  • Strong knowledge of Lightning Component Framework
  • 4 -- 6 years' UI Development (Visualforce, CSS, HTML, JavaScript) experience
  • Understanding of RESTful Web Service Frameworks
  • Strong knowledge of Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery practices (Salesforce DX)
  • 4 -- 6 years' experience working on Agile teams, soliciting requirements and developing elegant solutions to meet business needs

 

Preferred requirements

  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience
  • 3 -- 5+ years' of oversight in development on Heroku-supported languages (PHP, Ruby, Node.Js, Java, Python, etc.)
  • 5 -- 8 years' experience developing on the Force.com or Salesforce platform
  • One or more of the following Salesforce Certifications:
    • Salesforce Certified Administrator (ADM201)
    • Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator (ADM301)
    • Salesforce Certified Force.com Developer (DEV401)
    • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer 1
    • Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder
    • Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant

 

Specific role responsibilities include:

Solution Design and Architecture:

  • Develop project / business as usual technical design
  • Complete Unit Testing of developed code
  • Integrate changes and enhancements into our Salesforce.com instance
  • Coordinate all platform system changes within Change Management
  • Partner with third party vendors to develop and implement solutions
  • Manage and report key system metrics (IT manager)
  • Experience working independently with minimal supervision and guidance
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with experience exercising mature judgment
  • Proven experience effectively prioritizing workload to meet deadlines and work objectives
  • Work directly with leadership to produce the solution's Roadmap and Strategy
  • Understand business objectives and craft solutions to meet business objectives,
  • Sets code and design standards along with best practices for technical practices in the team
  • Accurately estimate work at various phases of the project lifecycle
  • Manage cross-functional team efforts and drive execution to completion, either by completing individually or overseeing others
  • Lead daily/weekly design meetings and interacts with various stakeholders to work towards a common solution
  • Mentors developers on the team in software development practices, appropriate use of design patterns, strong unit test automation practices, and provide technical leadership

 

Software Testing:

  • Perform Unit and Functional Testing
  • Test and implement "business as usual" changes or enhancements
  • Repair defects identified during System Acceptance Testing (SIT)
  • Repair defects identified during User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Coordinate project testing with Enterprise QA team
  • Solicit and analyze customer requirements; provide recommendations and design/implement solutions based on customer requirements
