Job Responsibilities

  • Support Webster's credit policy program and drive policy program enhancements
  • Work with policy owners throughout the policy lifecycle (development, review, approval, retirement) to ensure adherence to established policy standards
  • Assist in managing the Policy Oversight Committee
  • Provide timely and effective communication on policy changes and facilitate training as appropriate
  • Develop and maintain strong lines of communication with business leaders and key staff members
  • Maintain an updated, comprehensive credit policy inventory
  • Produce policy metrics and reporting to ensure timely and effective communication/escalation of policy issues
  • Respond to internal and external requests on credit policy matters
  • Monitor and communicate regulatory issues/guidance impacting credit policy

Experience / Education

  • Bachelor's degree is required
  • Banking experience preferred
  • Experience supporting programs and/or implementing projects/initiatives
  • Working knowledge of Windows and applications
  • Excellent spoken and written English with proven ability to research and write accessible, clear policy documents and reports for a wide range of audiences
